Our pieces are made entirely of glass. Our glassware should be treated with respect, common sense and a few simple guidelines. Our glassware is not tempered or break resistant. Our pieces are not oven safe or microwave safe. Pieces are generally dishwasher safe, however chipping, scratching and breakage may occur if loaded improperly. Use of abrasive cleaning products or pads will result in scratching. We do not recommend that our pieces be used to serve scalding hot liquids or extremely hot foods however, if hot foods are to be served on our glassware we suggest that pieces be gently pre-warmed using warming lights or a low (150 - 180 degree) oven. Do not thermal shock! Improper stacking or storage may result in scratching or breakage. Stacking with ceramic plates will usually result in scratching. Striking the edge of a piece against another or a hard object can result in chipping or breakage. Our glassware should be considered fragile; it will scratch, chip or break if mistreated. All pieces are lead-free and food safe. Please call us if you have any questions.
